The Role

As a Satellite Campaign Manager, you are responsible for the smooth execution of an entire multi-year, multi-payload satellite campaign, from beginning to end. You are the critical point of contact for all stakeholders, including company executive and engineering teams, customers, and technical partners (i.e. satellite bus partner, launch partner, ground segment partner). You oversee all aspects of the campaign, from securing all regulatory licenses to ensuring customers' requirement are met at all levels with our engineering teams. Most essentially, you are the face of the company to all our partners and customers.

In a typical week, you will

  • Work with all stakeholders to ensure mission success, from the very first to the very last day of a satellite campaign.

  • Be the primary point of contact for all customers onboard the satellite throughout the campaign, both before launch and during operations, answering all technical, regulatory, and programmatic questions.

  • Be the primary point of contact for all technical partners, including launch service partner and satellite bus partner, reviewing and providing all necessary information

  • Ensure every aspect of the campaign is on track, and that all elements are consistent, guaranteeing compatibility between technical, business, regulatory and programmatic elements of the satellite campaign.

  • Liaise with Loft Orbital technical and executive teams.

  • Travel Requirements: Periodic domestic and international travel to interact with Loft Orbital’s customers and technical partners


  • BS or MS in engineering from world class engineering university

  • 3-10 years of experience in managing complex projects in the pace industry, reporting to multiple stakeholders, both at the technical and managerial levels.

  • Experience with full lifecycle of a satellite mission is a plus.

  • Must have excellent communication skills, and able to convey multiple levels of information to a diverse range of audiences, both internally and externally.

  • Must be energetic, creative, and self-motivated

  • Experience in a startup is a plus

  • International Experience is a plus
